Got a thing for Red Leaves lately. . .

Took this in a totally different area after my original idea for a photo went bust. I actually packed up the van and went for a ride. Saw an area of this Red Ivy in an empty parking lot, after a short walk through what I swear is poison ivy (I side stepped it) I was able to take a few shots.

I processed this in Adobe RGB color space in DPP, saved as a 16Bit Tiff and opened in PSE 4.0. I was able to resize and sharpen a tad, however, when I went to save I couldn't save as a tif. I had to switch to 8 bit color mode then save as a jpg. Not sure if it was that step, but the reds do not look the same now. . .

It was also very hot today (right around 90). That has nothing to do with this photo, it had a lot to do with how motivated I was to spend time outside without AC...
