Labranche Crypt

In southern Louisiana the water table is very high. Dig down a couple of feet and you'll find water. Many of our dead are buried in above-ground tombs because of this.
Note the name "Labranche" on this crypt. When this German family came to Louisiana their name was Zweig. Twig- Branch in French. Many of the German settlers to early French Louisiana were absorbed into the French culture and changed their names accordingly.

Angle of light is great and the natural framing very interesting. Vote.
