My eyes were drawn to a number of owl pellets on the ground while answering nature's call next to a cedar. Eventually looking up, I saw a long-eared owl staring back at me. I saw pellets around the other cedars as well. There must have been a few long-eared owls here if all the pellets are of any indication. Some of the pellets were big with pieces of bone sticking out.
