"Rescued" in 1952 in Japan, Hymie was the mascot of Tent 706 (occupants Portoukalian, Jones, Barrett, Harper, Steiner, and others) at K16. Gypsies had a habit of "rescueing" dogs at various stops and bringing them home to the Squadron.
