Magic Hour at the Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is a salt lake, about 397 m (1,300 ft) below sea level, between Israel and Jordan. It is one of the saltiest bodies of water known and is the lowest point on the surface of the earth.
Most of the shots in this gallery were taken at dusk or dawn.

Reading the comment about the photos's not popping..I kinda think that the atmosphere may have a little to do with it ..here in Tennessee I have noticed that the Humidity makes it difficult to get good clear shots ...not sure what the Humidity is in this area or what its like to shoot below sea level , but untill I do it myself ...well gonna err on the side of I think these are pretty darn good :)

What lens(es)are you using here... it seems like something is lacking.. I don't knwo if it's your processing, your conversion method.. or what..but these scenes with a 40D and a good canon lens..should be popping off the screen, shoudl be a lot more clear and dense..The compositions rae good, the lighting and exposure are right on..yoiur setting are good from the few that I saw..but the clarity and details is what seems to be missing.. Good work nonetheless
