attenuated

Crescent Beach, White Rock

a tasty lunch with local pal Carol How at the Greek (named Cosmos) restaurant in White Rock saw sunshine outside...by the time we eventually wandered along the seashore the conditions had changed though, and the light was somewhat attenuated...this bike was outside a house, and clearly looked abandoned to the elements...with the large rack perhaps someone once had a newspaper route but grew out of that stage of life

What a great image. It conveys childhood lost. V

A bit rusted but still looks rideable. In a few more years I'll bet the ivy won't let it go.

A n interesting find on your walk. Looks like the bike will be overgrown with the vines soon.

Nice image of this old bike, I like how he undergrowth is slowing taking it.

It looks like it has been intentionally propped up with that rebar. Somebody's idea of a garden ornament? Cool photo.

A fine harmony of tones. C'est comme une oeuvre d'art moderne... V.

What a great find and a super capture of it. Sad to see the bike abandoned like this as well.

An interesting landscaping feature! I'm surprised the ivy hasn't tried to climb the wheels.

It does look as if it has been there untouched for a while.

Looks like it's been a while since anyone has thrown a leg over this bike, and that's probably a good thing considering the shape the saddle is in. Nice find and capture.
