chicken burritos provided the main nourishment (you can't be too picky on the road) during this winter trip, and the few moments of café warmth here and there were also to be savoured...on this last day (not the final series image though) met for lunch with treasured pal Sam Rua...we had lots to talk about, future adventures to discuss, and a laugh or two as always...Sam also brought along my favourite scarf, a worn navy blue lambswool neck-wrap (?) that has seen me through many a cold day, and was forgotten in his vehicle almost a year ago somewhere in Death Valley....thanks to Marcia, who was handed the Oly compact, figured it out in mere seconds, snapped the shot, then got on with the more appealing task of tackling her lunch
