jarring

disturbing events today in Munich....anger and frustrations are easy to understand, yet hatred and vicious attacks are so jarring...this is not the way to deal with differences...the actions of simpletons can be so deadly

The complexity of this design and capture creates a feeling of unease but very appropriate to what you are conveying. There is a lot of energy in this image but a feeling of confinement at the same time. A well photographed and powerful statement. This really makes being out in the beauty of nature feel great. VV

This image takes on a much more powerful meaning when combined with your narrative, David. Unfortunately, I see these events getting much worse before anything gets better.

A perfect visualization of how the world must look to some people. What's needed is respect and dignity not guns.

The steel bars and chains fit well into the theme. We can't be held captive by hate and ignorance. V

Intriguing perspective David. Jarring for sure, I lived in Munich and that is something one would never expect there. Intolerance, hate and anger seem to be so widespread and politicians, social media and the news fan the flames. As you know I am the organizer of a very diverse photo group with over 1,900 members and everyone gets along. Why is that not possible on a larger scale? Tolerance, kindness, acceptance and compassion should be our ideals!

I love the composition with all the lines and different shapes, it's just perfect! V

We live in a trying time. Your image David grabs on to you
and makes a powerful statement!

The growing distance between rich and poor; and corruption in all the governments - at all levels are creating much anger! The news reporting dramatizing every little incident does not help; neither does all the vitriol on the internet these days… drugs…cyber crime…. yikes!!! your image vividly recreates your statement…good work David.

the world has become a bit crazy in the last few years (or must I say the people?)

Your dramatic and rather sobering image fits with the dramatic and sobering events. V

unsettling for sure... I've come to the conclusion all one can do is
try to thrive in their own little circle. Anything else is too unattainable.

This image emulates "jarring". Good selection, David

A great array of lines and shapes. Yes, the events of late are totally jarring....how do we stop the madness?
