sobering

Rialto Beach, Washington

it was sunny during the 8 hour trip to the western side of the Olympic Peninsula, so in my mind's eye I could imagine catching a glorious sunset at one of the beaches, playing off those remarkable sea stacks...I checked in at the motel, and soon dashed off to the seashore, where the scene was sobering...the vagaries of coastal weather saw clouds roll in, which somewhat dampened the hopes for that day

Magnificent composition, David! I think I like it better in this muted tones and light, but then again, I don't get to experience as much of that as you most likely do. Love the foreground. ~BV~

Excellent view! And personally I would love to see thing kind of day! We have set a record for days over 90 del here this summer at 35 or 36. Rainy Oregon isn't so rainy this year! We are drying up!
