Saturday's ceaseless rain left everything soaked, and after a sudden drop in temperatures overnight, Sunday morning the car was frozen shut, encased in ice...that meant missing a promising sunrise down here at Jericho Beach Park...luckily by afternoon it was possible to open the car door and drive downhill to join others revelling in the winter sunshine
