sheen

eight seconds was enough to record a sheen on the waters of False Creek from the lights of downtown apartment towers on a cold night last week...thought of going out with the camera again last night, but with the temperatures now well below freezing, stayed home in the warmth and curled up with a novel instead

This is a stunning image, David. The water is like glass and the reflections are marvelous as is the skyline. ~

At first I wasn't sure if it was a long exposure or if it was frozen water, certainly
have reason to be confused with the cold these last few days.
Nevertheless a splendid image David. V

An impressive night skyline, the apartment dwellers enjoying their warm dinners while a poor photographer is out in brass monkey temperatures. Let the hibernation begin. V
Mairéad23-Nov-2010 21:28
This is beautiful but it sounds like a good idea to let Jack Frost freeze the
water while you stay warm inside. V
