The Double Cluster in Perseus

Hovatter Road, Arizona

Also known as NGC 869/884 and Caldwell 14, these two clusters can be seen with the naked eye from a dark site and are approx. 7500 light years distant. In mythology, the Double Cluster represents the jeweled handle of Perseus’s sword.
