Astrophotos taken using Canon 20D, 5D, Digital Rebel, 350D and CCD cameras used on Meade 10"SCT, Televue TV101 refractor and TEC 140mm f7 refractor. Most images are taken at the Sonoran Desert National Monument located South of I-8, halfway between Gila Bend and Casa Grande, Arizona. It is one of the few dark sites left within 50 miles of Phoenix and is also the site of the East Valley Astronomy Club star parties. To the south is the huge expanse of the Tohono O’Odam Indian Reservation which stretches to the Mexican border with only one main road bisecting it. So views to the South are excellent.
