The Waratah (Telopea speciosisimma) is one of the most spectacular flowers in the bush of Eastern Australia. This flower is about
12 cm across. They are very popular in floral displays, and as a consequence suffer from illegal picking. It has always seemed a
strange convention that handing a woman a bunch of plant reproductive organs is supposed to be more romantic than raunchy,
but as I have always maintained, love is at very least partially blind.
