You have caught a really good angle on this one Keith, a great shot. Did you get wet ?
(For mairead:- an "Irish Bridge" is the next step up from a ford and is designed to keep the carriageway dry for most of the time but is still likely to be overrun by the waterflow a few times per year. Used where traffic flow is very light-- or maybe they were just constructed by Irish workmen; I forget which it was now :-) )

An amazing bridge with the gushing water - great shot.
