M8, M20 & IC4685 in Sagittarius

Hakos/Namibia

M8, the "Lagoon Nebula" is a very bright emission nebula, easily visible to the naked eye on a dark location. It radiates mainly the red H-alpha and greenish-blue OIII wavelength.
To the north M20 - the "Trifid Nebula" is located, a mixture of a red emission and a blue reflection nebula.
IC4685 is the fainter emission nebula to the east, with some reflection nebulae along the edges.
