M20/M8 - Area in Sagittarius

Tivoli/Namibia

This image depicts two of the top showcase objects in our galaxy. M20 in the upper right corner is a combination of a blue reflection and reddish emission nebula, and M8 in the lower left corner is a very bright emission nebula of glowing hydrogen and oxygen gas.
