NGC281 in Cassiopeia

NGC281 is an emission nebula, which is exited by the radiation of a multiple star system, the brightest member of the open star cluster IC1590. The dark globules in the center are areas of star formation.
The nebula is shown in the light of glowing sulphur, hydrogen and oxygen.
