Views of Cuban Knight Anole's in my back yard in Ft. Lauderdale, FL About 12 inches in length. They actually grow between 16 and 18 inches as adults.
Last year's (2010) deep freeze killed off all the iguanas here in Florida and I suspected all of the Anole's too. So I was really surprised to see this bright green critter crawling on the window in the back of the house this last week (05-03-2011).
Also interesting is not only do they have claws like most lizards but they have feet pads similar to a gecko where they can climb glass with ease. You lizard lovers probably already knew that.
The last 2 photos are about a year later and several inches longer.

Dave a have Cuban knight anole 5 yrs. in a 6 ft. Plexiglass tank with a brown Basilick bought them both at a reptile show 5yrs. Ago. They've never fought & they live together in their plexiglass home top of tank is plexiglass and screen so I can get to them! Google reptile shows in your area but make sure the one your buying is not skinny, bright eyed, and check his skin good people walk around carrying the Cuban knights around the reptile show with them after they buy them! I just missed buying a 8in. One I really wanted he was $20.00 but some guy bought him first he was sitting on the dealers shoulder! The guy bought him and walked away! Their cool!

I have a male about 2 years old and his girlfriend just passed away. I am looking for another female(or two)if you know of anyone, I live in Naples. I would also like to get "Beau" another tree to live in. Do you have any suggestions of trees that would be sufficient for a lanai -eight feet tall? Thanks, Craig 239-465-5578.
When I originally took the first pictures I didn't have clue what these critters were and had to do some Googling. I might suggest you do the same. Thanks.

I have a male that was found extremely cold. He fell out of a tree, looked like he was dead. Had him a couple of years now.
He likes the Super Meal Worms for food. Won't eat pinkies or little native lizards. I'd really love to get him a Female but having a hard time differentiating these guys. Can you tell the difference?
Thanks for letting me post.
