I forgot to tell you that you can click on the eye dropper & then make little cirles on the color you want to identify. Then look at the curves graph & you will see a little cirle on the line graph. This cirle is place where that color is on the graph. Then you can adjust that area withthe curves. This is a powerful tip! Curves is an excellent tool the use in editing an image.

Very nice composition. One "rule" of composition is to do grpous of 3. All rules can be broken if you feel it need to be done. I would experiment with removing the far left leaf bud & see what you think about the new image. I like the gradient you used. You might try to brighten it using curves.
