My 1995 DV-73 has the standard "post-1974" upper bout bracing with neck block extension and
"wing braces." The sound hole and lower bout bracing returns to a pattern most similar to
that in the '70s era dreads, with separate sound hole braces (two flanking, one below). The
placement of braces and tone bars in the lower bout seems more similar to that in my D-35.
The maple bridge plate is smaller.
