As we are coming to terms with the Gallery Aeronauticus, so also are we aware of the interest lots of folk around this small planet of ours has for flight. This led to the sub gallery to offer the Spruce Goose to our viewers. There is some more data to be added but the general interest expressed by viewers appeared to us to warrant creating another sub gallery within Flight and bring together two other of Robaire’s main interests whenever his travel plans enabled him to get up close to a shuttle although not operational and to several times visit the Smithsonian Space Centre in Washington DC. It will be obvious from our galleries that flight holds a fascination for our In Mate, although he has been on land for very many years. We hope our viewers with similar interests may find our images, although not 21st century, worthy enough for you to tell us when we have erred as well as when you know more and can correct or create a note which will always be acknowledged.
