Galleria Ecliptica
On Tuesday 28th August 2007 Eastern Australia was visited by a Blood Moon. This was caused by an eclipse, which saw the moon gradually masked by the Earth until at totality it turned a very scary burnt red. Rather appropriate for Rusticana don’t you think.
Knowing what we do, we were all pretty certain the moon would return, and since we had got rid of all the Priests who did this stuff yonks back we had to wait it out. To make it all the more certain we decided to look about for a scapegoat.
It was Robaires fault, he spread the WORD (s) and the WORD (s) was/were Blood Moon. This was taken up by our Other Mates who then proceeded to photograph the happening as they too were also unable to help themselves.
Mate Vincentius, was last but not least, do take a look at his matrix shot and the tec notes on how the composit image was made. Some mates did it from Sydney and mate Trev from his roost in Bundaberg in Central Queensland, now that’s a couple of thousand klix of territory all covered. The Gods will be pleased.
Lady Pamela photographed from the Harbour in company with possums. Maritimus was on his deck and in the street and for once not on his boat and Wazza was on a bridge over an expressway wondering why everything was shaking around.
Welcome.

After my pitiful attempt at taking pictures of the lunar eclipse I have even more appreciation of the skill required to produce these stunning shots! Congratulations on a job well done. Lyn

I'm blown away by these images .... something you see only once in a red moon. Are all the "other mates" also "luna"tics ??
You've all done very well!
