What follows is a photographer's philosophical musing on "Masks" specifically the masks of Carnevale 2008 in Venice. My conversations with masks were thought provoking enough to reflect them in this gallery alongside the photographs. I was lucky enough to get to know some amazing people, some masks and some photographers. I deeply want to do justice to the masks I came to know in the time I spent there. My fellow photographers shared everything they knew with each other, I was privileged to work with them. I extend a special thank you to Silvano for the generosity of his spirit, to the photographers who befriended me, to the masks who chatted with me. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for visiting this gallery and sharing in this dream.

Great gallery! Your images have that bit extra that makes them stand out. Framing, colors, showing context is excellent. I find it a bit hard to have an overview because of the format you choose for this gallery, but nevertheless worthwile looking.
