The Kayakers are David Fasulo of Essex Adventures, in Essex, CT (yellow kayak) and Steve Fagin, reporter/blogger for "the Day" newspaper (red kayak). David Kayaked the CT river from Agawam Massachusetts (Pynchon Point) to Old Saybrook, CT. He Crossed the MA/CT border about 6:15am and arrived in Middletown, CT at about 12:00. He and Steve joined up in Middletown and paddled together to the Dock & Dine restaurant in Old Saybrook, arriving at about 6:15pm. According to the GPS it was 67.8 miles from Agawam to the Dock & Dine.

This photo was taken at the Connecticut Launch Pier at Old Saybrook. This is on the Connecticut River just up from where it flows into Long Island Sound.
