Over the Fence, Before and After!

I love deer! I drove out Fox Hollow Road especially to see some. I saw a couple youngsters alongside the road as I was driving along. As one headed for the fence, I tried to get a shot of it going over. I ended up with a before and after, which I combined. (Yes, both are the same deer!) Maybe next time I can get one in the air!

Indeed that does look a little scary if it jumped between the highest and the space before next but you got a terrific action shot!

Nice effect.

Looks like the over-the-fence one is "mooning" the about-to-jump one. ;-)
parrothouse28-Jun-2014 15:38
You did well with combining the two shots. Made a great image.
Jack Hoying28-Jun-2014 15:22
It's amazing how well they jump! You'll have to keep the D3 in machine gun mode to catch the action!

Great captures and very clever to combine them!

I see there is a 2nd barbed wire the deer must have jumped between... fab combo shot Vern. v
Rebecca Leberman 28-Jun-2014 05:02
I wish people did not use barbed wire. Elk here will run through it and hurt themselves.
Neat shot Vern! Especially to see the same deer twice in one photo.
Laura Milholland28-Jun-2014 04:59
Hey that's really neat! Great job putting them together.

Fences can be tricky for wild things, glad they both made it safely. A good catch.

Very nice work capturing this action.V
Steve Thuman28-Jun-2014 03:27
Cute little things. Kinds scary cause it looks like it jumped between the barbed wire up high and the rest of the fence. I'd hate seeing one get stuck.

Nice capture
