I got another look at the eagle's nest this morning and was able to use a borrowed monster lens, a 1000mm Takumar, with my Nikon D300. The lens may be a little too much for this old body, not meaning the D300. :) It's big and heavy, but a very nice lens. A few of the images were shot with my 80-400 VR. There seems to be only one baby in the nest. That's all I have seen anyway. Normally, over the last few years there have been two. The little one has grown quite a bit and looks healthy.
