Mt. Blanca, Southwest Perspective

Blanca, Colorado

Blanca anchors this segment of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, and is the gateway to the San Luis Valley. Its cluster of peaks rise to 14,000 feet. Because the Valley is high - over 8,000 feet - the vertical rise from the Valley is not very great.
