Views of Sri Lanka

The images in this gallery are from 35mm negatives that I took during the period September, 1995 to October, 1997 while working in Colombo on an environmental clean up project for the Sri Lanka Urban Development Authority. The project was financed by the World Bank and my firm’s role was to provide technical consulting for the establishment of a Geographic Information System. The negatives have been scanned using a Nikon SUPER COOLSCAN 5000 ED High Resolution Slide Scanner at a resolution of 2000 dpi and color corrected. All of the photos were taken with a Contax-T 35mm range finder camera using mostly Kodak Gold film. All scanned negatives were reviewed and corrected using Adobe PhotoShop Elements 4.0
