This is a start for my Photo a Day gallery. I have been taking photographs since I was 15 years old. I began with a $35 dollar Kodak Pony 35mm camera and graduated to an Argus V-100 several years latter. I have had various 35mm SLR cameras ranging from Pentax, Contax 167MT, Nikon F801, Nikon F4 and a Nikon N70, all with the appropriate lenses from the manufacturer. In the past 30 years I took photos all over the world with these cameras and developed an archive of over 25,000 35mm slides. Last year I culled these slides down to around 5,000 and scanned them using a NIKON SUPER COOLSCAN 5000 ED at 2000 dpi. In 1998 I purchased my first digital camera, a Nikon CoolPix 990. Over the past four years I have fallen in love with digital photography and now have settled down to a Nikon 70s and a Nikon D200. More images to come!
