Everything seems to be negotiable in Turkey, especially at tourist spots. With no exception, we were always greeted with souvenir shops at every single lunch and bio break. The shops tend to be larger and would have more varieties at tourist sites. Shopping and haggling could be so time consuming that many women would choose to spend more time shopping over sightseeing. Store owners prefer hard currencies over the Turkish liras and credit cards.
