These days in the States, user guides to appliances, tools, and even computer equipment are mostly filled with admonitions about this danger or that danger, stating repeatedly what is obvious to anyone with common sense. With all those warnings, it can be difficult to find information about operating a device. I would feel safer if the pictured ladder had a label stating "WARNING: Jumping from this ladder into a vat of hydrochloric acid is dangerous. Do not stand on the top step of this ladder for that purpose." Or: "CAUTION: Climbing this ladder while it is balanced on the seat of a moving unicycle can lead to an accident, injury, or death."
