You have captured the beauty of this magnificent castle in your photos. I especially like your photo taken from the tower, it replicates one I took from the same exact location. ( What a climb ..was it 100 steps ? And talk about narrow, it left me absolutely exhausted ! Then once I got to the top I realized damn...now I gotta go through that all over again spiraling on the way back down) I cant imagine a man in armour carrying weapons being too comfortable up there. However, it is a beautiful castle that will leave you breathless.The countryside and quaintness of Warwickshire was amazing. I hope you got to see the castles dungeon and medieval devices
it was quite fascinating, although quite barbaric. The interior was grand - it's original tapestries and furnishings majestic. I loved this castle, nice to see you too apppreciated its beauty !
