The basilica of Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, an example of flamboyant Gothic of the 15th century
Over the years there have been pillages, fires, and also destruction during World War II.
Camille Croué-Friedman (1890-1980), who was born in St. Nicolas-de-Port, left for the U.S., became an American citizen,
bequeathed a large part of her fortune for the restoration of the basilica.
