We travel through time from the Summer of 1995 to the Summer of 2002. My facial expression remains nearly identical, as I noticed:-))
This time, I am glowering with a very good reason:
I had had a bad cough for some months and finally decided to visit a MD (stupid to wait so long, I know, but I had been exceptionally healthy till then).
OK, so just for the record: if you have a cough that lasts for more than 2 weeks, go have yourself checked - something is definitly wrong.
Anyway, the CT-scans showed a huge tumour (mango-sized) in the space within my lungs (mediastinum).
The MDs were quite sure at this time that it was Morbus Hodgkin (Lymphoma cancer), but wanted to exactly specify the sub-type.
The MDs first tried to take biopsy probes from my tumour by means of bronchoscopy (it didn't work properly, and it was still necessary to take out a complete lymph node later).
This photo was taken one day before bronchoscopy.
