Carl Summer 1995.jpg

I have posted this photo as some kind of Introduction.
It's like a statement "in another time, I was in very good shape and looked OK".

I recently found that photo from 1995 and almost could not believe my eyes.

Compared to now, I clearly was in exceptional shape. However I remember that at that time, I was never satisfied with my shape.

Anyway.

I remember that back then, my weight was 64 kg and I managed to cycle a constant 230 W on the Ergo.
On the bench, I could do 4 sets of 12 reps with 85 kg (this is not that much weight, but my aim never was to achieve records in bench pressing).
My resting heart rate was 42 bpm.

When seeing my "shoulders of '95", I realize I must start with lateral raises again:-)

By the way, this photo was shot and composited from 3 analog photos from, you guess it, 1995.

Hello Carl . .and I too think the center smile is inviting. I have read your story with great interest. You are a brave man. And thanks for posting these pictures and opening this door for all of us. God be with you.

I'm sorry, but you don't look 'okay'. You're extremely handsome and well defined. The smile in the middle is wonderful and you should do more of it! Of course, you'll have to forgive a gay mans rambling and this is a first peek at a life I probably will never understand, or at least never hope I have to understand, but my mother died when I was 13 and a half of some sort of cancer. This was back in 1980. If this is a 'hello' from you from another time, then Hello back to you in that time. I will continue the exploration of all that you bare here, if you don't mind. :o)
