Two basic-plumaged Sabine's Gulls in flight over the Snake River in south-eastern Idaho. The Minidoka NWR in Idaho is a great place to observe Sabine's Gulls in September. I counted six on 9/17/05. Below the hydropower station is where one can find a large congregations of white pelicans, red-necked phalaropes, terns ,and gulls in September.
