Windy! With the starting line in the Richmond Channel, the narrow space swarmed with sailboats in various stages of dress - all flying, just the main, still under power - at least the wind direction did not favor spinnaker practice. The sprawling course took us up to the net depot, zigzagging through Raccoon Strait against the flood, across the Bay and up-current of Little Harding. We slipped down current of Harding (is it always flooding at that buoy? what a wake it had!) but managed to keep Alcatraz to port, then headed under the Bay Bridge and south to the yellow YRA 32 buoy and back to finish at McCovey cove. On the reach back to Pt. Richmond, Dazzler raced along at 8 knots - good thing we weren't in a No Wake zone!
