Island Native

Southern Vancouver Island

Wild rabbits are native to Vancouver Island and early morning is one of the best times to find and photograph them. A few interesting facts on Rabbits: More than half the world's wild rabbit population resides in North America. - When rabbits are happy, they will jump and twist, this movement is called a binky. - Because of the placement of their eyes, rabbits can see behind them, but have blind spot in front of their face. - A 4 pound rabbit will drink as much water as a 20 pound dog. ~ Wikipedia and threelittleladiesrabbitry.com
