Recently we drove down to Canberra to visit friends, and we took Miss Meeka with us. Our friends also have a 5 month old kitten called Maurice (aka Morrie). It's a 5 hour journey to Canberra and Meeka travelled very well. We stopped a few times to let her walk around on the grass in her walking jacket to stretch her legs. At first Meeka spent some time hissing at Morrie, but finally after a day or two she realised he only wanted to play. They stalked each other and shared Morrie's cat-tunnel. Now we are home and Meeka has been introduced to her new friend Basil... but that's another story!!
