Who doesn't savor the colors imbued by twilight? These violets are particularly rich. This photo also wonderfully captures the moment when the lights come on with the promise of the evening ahead. …great framing and exposure.

This photo made me smile - as we were there in March and after an exhausting day we got gelato's and walked down the stairs to lower level right next to the river. We relaxed on river's edge beneath the castle for about an hour and other than a woman jogging by, we were left alone from crowds, for perhaps for the first and only time during our week travelling Italy. It is a favorite memory of my daughter and my trip... eating gelato and relaxing next to the Tiber River.
