I get you. Some places just don't "click" - there's just a lack of chemistry between the tourist and the destination, but it does not mean that either is at fault. Lovely shots though, despite the lack of enthusiasm :)

Really? No character in Budapest? Only one of the great cities in the entire world. I suggest a return visit in the spring. Nice images though.

Lovely images which contract your finding that Budapest was without character. We found it a charming city and it's up there with Paris, Rome and Porto as cities I want to return to.

Sorry you had bad weather, but I live in Budapest and I find the city to have more character than most any place I've lived in the world. Your images, however, are excellent. V.

I was there in May and the was weather fair, but had a couple of cold and windy days. I did not find the city without character, but enjoyed Prague much more. Even though it was a negative experience for you, you did your usual job of capturing excellent images. V
