Sevilla Tiles In St.Francisco Cathedral, Lima

These tiles were brought to Lima from Sevilla, Spain to be laid on the wall of cathedral. I am pretty sure that masons were punch drunk when they decorated the wall, look at orientation of tiles on the left and complete mismatch...

other sizes: small medium original auto

You are probably right...but it adds a nice touch of reality to history.

The masons were probably indian slaves who had just chewed a pound of coca leaves ;-)
But nevertheless...beautiful tiles !
