Amigo, it's good you mentioned the poisonous nature of these berries, Vera was lucky in avoidance of the tasting bite... One could only suggest that whatever is poisonous to mammals on this hemisphere might be quite alright for thereof on the only appropriate hemisphere whereas mammals logically should have a habitat. Or another assumption could've been made that the mammals on this ( I mean where we're ) hemisphere have been evolved in to different species altogether and can consume the stuff which would normally destroy a trivial mammal found elsewhere on the face of planet ?! Mindblowing puzzle...

Hello Eldar O very Evil One. Yes this dessert, on the surface, with the superb photography capturing all the shades of light and color, appears incredibly yummy. But knowing your modus operandi, something does not exactly appear kosher here..... it is, indeed the berries. Thosel berries look very similar to the American "pokeweed" berry (Phytolacca americana) (see:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokeweed) which is quite poisonous to mammals. One bite, and you explode from within.... but what is the difference..... you die from too much of a good thing (like this dessert) or you die from poison.... you still die. and so the more I think of it.... I would rather die of too much of a good thing. Arrrrggggghhhhh. Michael.
