Its Majesty,- Italian Merlot

This dry Italian Merlot from Eugenio Collavigni is , propably, next in nobility to Amarone Negrar, this an absolutely exlusive and one-of-the-kind wine ! One of the best dry Italian wines I ever tried ! This wine is relatively inexpensive, - around $13 CND, but what a taste ! This is medium bodied wine with strong aroma of dried cherries and blue violets in nose, has very vibrant almost orange colour and wonderfull bouquet reminescent of roasted almonds, French roasted coffee, cacao and light hint of tobacco... Not acidic at all with terrific tanine balance... Very intense and flavorful wine, strongly recommended ! That day this went well with Italian pumpkin gnocchi, duck filet glased with sauteed onions , and roasted zuccini medalions, holy macaroni !

other sizes: small medium original auto

Take a look at the bottle label, hohohoho. Plus, the Italian Merlot is the best around the globe, indeed :-)

There is no such thing as an Italian Merlot. Maybe a Merlote or Merlitissomo if you're lucky.
