This Italian dry red wine from Molinara & Grenache grapes is moderately priced, - around $13 CND, It is very strong in nose with plums scent, has very dark ruby colour, very thick body and heavy vanilla flavour mixed with something like coffee. It's damn strong & flavorful wine, almost like Australian Shiraz, definitely not to everybody's tastes. That day this went well with quails stuffed with sundried pepper and chestnuts & and spicy fried rice balls stuffed with mushrooms !
