Abandoned Russian Church...

Here 2 layers were painted; lower with " impressionist" so-called big-smuggled-sticks, upper with regular PS paint daubts whereas lines were kept at neutral brightness. Upper layer opasity was set to 67%. Saturation and contrast were cranked up for both layers and image was flattened. This is as close as I could get to oil paint effect, it seems that there should be certain filter to get you even closer...

I guess contrast is key factor here, most people were complaining about my low contrast images ;-), so I tried to change, but I see now everything moved to opposite side, hmmmm :-)

Eldar, what about posting the photo without to show the contrast? You are not intimidated by strong colors. But you can handle them just fine.

This really is excellent Eldar. Kinda surprised I missed this with as much as I browse your galleries.
That filter...Well, it is one you probably won't like to much, but I think really is needed to get the oil effect. The canvas or burlap texture. It doesn't need to be mush, just enough to give the piece a 'feel' of the layering of oils. Basically depth.

That said, I like this piece just the way it is!

Excellent job here. It looks every bit as good as a watercolor.
