"Friday 10/7 - Up around 7:30, found a small breakfast place a couple blocks north of hotel. Tube to Tower of London, with a very thorough visit. Lunch at small place near Tower (great pastrami sandwich), walked to Tower Bridge and took tour. On south side of bridge, saw the bridge raised. Then walked to Southwark Cathedral and then walked around the Borough Market. Ate some goat's milk ice cream (lemon, lime and basil - no goat taste). Tube home to hotel. Dinner at a local italian chain up the street, which was quite decent and reasonably priced."
