This image, taken in late July 2004, shows the artists priming the lower part of the mosque's facade.
Notice the carpenter has begun the framing work in the entrances. Making the entrance way flush
with the flashing above and the rest of the upper facade will add an important dimension to the
overall asthetic. The entrance ways also carry through the original portal design for the windows
above - the narrow portal on the right corresponding to those on the top story, and the wider
entrance way on the left corresponds with the window openings on the second floor (right).
