Did I mention that it was foggy & rainy on this trip to Shenandoah National Park? This is the view over the edge of some mountain or other. Great fun (really) - the wind was beginning to pick up & howl, the mist (clouds) were swirling so that at times the more distant trees in this shot were not visible. The rain was just a drizzle, but the wind still made keeping the lens dry a challenge. On a normal, sunny day this shot wouldn't be worth the time but toss in some atmosphere and it's an interesting image. The park is neat on days like this because often you can move from weather like to clear sunshine within a 5 minutes drive depending on whether you go above or below the clouds (not always possible, but often is).
